✈️ DIGITAL NOMAD VISA

Step-by-Step Roadmap

1. Eligibility Quiz

Take our 2-minute quiz to determine if you’re eligible for the Non-Lucrative Visa or Digital Nomad Visa. This is your essential first step.

2. Free Consultation & First Payment

After completing the quiz, you’ll gain access to a free 15-minute consultation with our Immigration Lawyer. Come prepared with your questions so we can make the most of your time.

When you’re ready (either before or after the consultation), you can make the first payment. Our payment structure is designed to be simple and stress-free, split into two manageable installments. This first payment unlocks:

  • A personal consultation with your Case Manager
  • Access to your secure document dashboard
  • The ability to begin uploading your documentation

🛠️ We present the 2-step payment structure as a value-added benefit: it gives you flexibility, builds trust gradually, and allows you to proceed at your own pace.

3. Case Manager Consultation

Once your first payment is confirmed, you’ll have a 45-minute one-on-one session with your dedicated Case Manager. This session can be extended at no extra cost, and your Case Manager will:

  • Guide you through the visa process.
  • Explain what documents are needed and why.
  • Explain the dashboard functionalities
  • Be your main point of contact throughout the journey.
  • Respond to emails (please allow up to 4 business days for replies)

4. Upload Documents, Review & Translation

This is the most detailed part of your process, but you’re not alone! We will walk you through it.

Here’s how it works:

  • Your Dashboard is tailored to your visa type and personal situation.
  • Upload documents section-by-section (some sections need more than one document. For example all passports if you’re applying as a family).
  • No need to email your Case Manager — we receive automatic notifications when you upload something.
  • Documents will be reviewed within 4 business days.
  • If your manager rejects a document, we’ll send an instant email notification. Your dashboard will then clearly show the exact reason for the rejection and provide step-by-step instructions on how to correct it to re-upload it.
  • If your document is approved, your dashboard will indicate it as well.
  • Once all documents are submitted and approved, we will send them to be translated. 📌 Note: Although we do not include translations fee, we’ll recommend trusted professionals to handle this part for you.

5. Second Payment

Once your documents are approved and translated, it’s time to make your second and final payment. This confirms your intention to move forward and includes:

  • Preparation of your final application folder
  • Sharing forms and additional documents for you to sign.
  • Take care of governmental fees

6. Travel to Spain & Final Preparations

After making the second payment, you’re ready to travel!

  • You must enter as a tourist, and within the allowed Schengen period, we submit your documents.
  • We strongly recommend entering directly into Spain (avoiding any layover in another EU country) to avoid needing a complex “entry letter”

Wait for confirmation from your Case Manager before booking your flight. This ensures you’re fully ready and do not lose any tourist days waiting for the documents to be prepared.

7. Online Submission via UGE

Your application will be submitted online through the UGE platform (Unidad de Grandes Empresas). No in-person visits required!

What we need:

  • Your complete passport, including the Spanish entry stamp scanned and uploaded into the dashboard as soon as you arrive in the country.
  • Your physical presence in Spain at the time of submission

Once submitted:

  • You’ll receive a submission receipt
  • You are free to leave Spain after the application is submitted and wait for the result from any other country.
  • Alternatively, you may remain in Spain while awaiting the decision. If you exceed your allowed Schengen days during this period, there is no need to worry—you are legally permitted to stay in Spain while awaiting an official government resolution.
  • UGE will provide a response in up to 20 business days
    • If additional documents are required, we’ll have 10 business days to respond

8. Visa Approval 🎉

Congratulations – Your Visa Has Been Approved!

You will receive your approval letter. Your passport will not be stamped, as the process is completed online.

While we don’t directly manage the procedures that follow visa approval, we’ve got you covered with clear, written guidance to help you navigate the next steps with confidence.

You’ll find easy-to-follow instructions to complete your residency registration process in Spain, including:

  • Empadronamiento (City Registration): How to register at your local town hall (in person process)
  • TIE (Foreigner Identity Card): Steps to obtain your residence card (in person process)
  • Autónomo Registration: Who to contact and when to start

These steps are manageable on your own—you’ll just need a bit of extra patience when dealing with immigration offices.

In accordance with the law, these final steps are required to be completed within 30 days of approval. However, in practice, this timeline is seldom feasible, and the process typically takes approximately 90 days. Please rest assured that this delay will not affect your legal status in Spain.

📌 Note: These post-approval procedures are not included in our service. Please refer to the “External Services” section in your dashboard for recommended professionals who can assist if needed.
